Thanks to Christine (8:10 pm, level 2) for bringing this up. She mentioned that there are only 5 listening quizzes on this blog. I mentioned in class that there were 11 total. I apologize for the error/mistake.
What happened is that wordpress only allows me so much space/room on this blog so I could not upload any more videos! However, do not worry. You can see a few other videos by going here:
www.youtube.com Look up “youreslpal” or “urpal2me” – those are my accounts and you can see all my videos there. If you want the questions and answers in pdf file, just email me and I will send them to you and also post them here.
Ok everyone, here is Listening Quiz #3. Enjoy and as always, let me know if there is anything I can do to improve the videos or anything to correct. Thanks!
I finally got around to making a listening quiz video.
There are some things you will need to know about this before you start.
Instructions:
Please listen carefully
Please do NOT take notes – you can listen to this video as many times as you want
Write with the best grammar and spelling you can
Write in full, detailed and complete sentences
There will be five (5) questions at the end. Because of time, there will only be a few seconds between questions so listen carefully and think quickly
Don’t cheat and look at the questions and answers first – do the quiz
Some suggested tips:
Treat it like a TOEIC or other important test
Relax and listen for key points
Think of a one sentence summary for this story
Remember that the questions flow in the same order as the events unfold in the story
Feel free to post your comments here. I’m open to ideas. I’ll do my best to make better videos in the future. Please be sure to share this blog with your friends, family and coworkers. Everything on this blog is FREE unless otherwise stated so help yourself! Thanks
Here is the latest in pronunciation videos. Today I have selected the ‘z’ sound. My excellent student Amy requested it so Amy, this video is for you! For all of you, enjoy it and as always, please feel free to ask questions or post here. Thanks.

At last, I’ve got a short prepositions video for you – a long 4 minutes and 28 seconds long. I know you folks get tired easily and don’t have much time for English so I’ve tried to make this as short and sweet as possible. Of course, if you have any questions, post here and I’ll answer them! Thanks.
